We hope your hike is going well! If the weather is agreeable it is a great little hike beyond and around the point with vistas out onto the Sheepscot River. Some parts of this trail make you feel like you’re entering a mystical forest with strange and wonderful things awaiting just around the corner.

Actually, there is a fascinating thing you need to look for on your way out of the Porter Point Road. As you pass by the old cemetery on your right look closely for the headstone that defies gravity and does not touch the ground! Only the year this stone was placed will allow you to advance. Please honor and respect these grounds.
